Dear mum, it’s been hard without you these past months. We celebrated your first grandchild’s 21st birthday and never imagined you would not be with us. As always, you planned ahead and thank you for Ellis’s gift . We felt your presence strongly that day but also acutely the pain of your absence from the table. Mum, we have chosen a Rose for you in the remembrance garden and are looking forward to sitting with you in the sun. Miss you and Love you mum xx
